Question Everything
Hair sheds, hair grows—but why and how? Like a forest, human hair faces hidden invaders—DHT, stress, and unhealthy habits that weaken hair follicles over time. However, goosebumps can awaken dormant defenses by increasing circulation, reducing DHT buildup, and giving follicles the strength to regrow.
Inspired by this cycle of shedding and renewal, we aimed to depict the relationship between DHT and goosebumps through a metaphorical scene of park ranger geese cleansing a forest by consuming harmful, unruly hiker pests.

Character Design & Storyboard
Collaboration played a big role throughout this project—from concept building and gathering references to character design and multiple storyboard iterations. We focused on giving the hiker pests more personality, making them feel lively and relatable. We wanted them to come across as the kind of unruly hikers people might actually run into (or picture running into) in real life.
3D Environment
We used 3D environments instead of a full 2D illustration style to hint at the reveal at the end—that the story takes place in a metaphorical, otherworldly space. Experimenting with 3D also helped us shape the composition and perspective of our shots.
